A través de imágenes vibrantes y narrativas gráficas, la muestra evoca paisajes míticos, mariposas amarillas, guayacanes en flor y símbolos de identidad que dialogan con la memoria colectiva. Cada cartel se convierte en un relato visual macondiano que transforma la tradición en poesía gráfica, invitando al espectador a recorrer un territorio donde lo real y lo mágico se entrelazan.
The exhibition “Tales of the Magic Land” brings together posters that celebrate the symbolic and cultural richness of Colombia. Through vibrant images and graphic narratives, the exhibition evokes mythical landscapes, yellow butterflies, flowering guayacan trees, and symbols of identity that resonate with collective memory. Each poster becomes a Macondo-esque visual tale that transforms tradition into graphic poetry, inviting the viewer to explore a territory where the real and the magical intertwine.
The Panamanian institutions involved in this exhibition are: the University of Panama through the Vice-Rectorate of Extension, the Directorate of Culture, and the Manuel E. Amador Gallery; the Panamanian Poster Artists Guild; and the Panama Poster Group.
The participating Colombian institution is the Embassy of Colombia in Panama.
